Preferred Lenders
What makes a good lender?
In my profession, I have the opportunity to work with a lot of different lenders, ranging from mortgage brokers to bankers. Either professional can do a good job, we just need to be sure to find that one that will. Principal Broker, Jayne Warrener, has a large range of lenders looking to help you with all your Wallowa County real estate needs.
My first requirement of all lenders: CALL ME BACK WHEN I CALL YOU!
A good lender will help you through the process of filling out that long application form. Some will even do it for you with you supplying them the information. Items asked for on this form include your assets (list of vehicles, personal property, bank accounts, stocks, life insurance, child support received, etc.). It also asks for your liabilities (list of your debts, including loans on vehicles, credit card debt, child support payments, etc.). Once that is filled out, it is up to them to verify employment, check out your financial information and credit history, order the appraisal, and other miscellaneous items.
A good lender will help you through the process and find the right type of financing to fit your budget and available down payment. Be sure you shop around to find the best interest rate and terms.
